More than 200 entrepreneurs from Bhutan, India, Nepal and Thailand are taking part in the 7th Bhutan International Trade Fair.
The fair opened yesterday afternoon at the Changlingmithang Stadium Parking in Thimphu. Various products, such as textiles, art and handicraft products and farm tools, are available for sale.
For the first time ever, the fair features a thematic exhibition on Made in Bhutan products to promote locally made goods. Over 30 Bhutanese entrepreneurs have set up stalls to exhibit local products.
The fair also features the 3rd Agri Flori Fair and Exhibition on Indian Handicrafts.
The trade fair is organized by the Bhutan Chamber of Commerce (BCCI) and Industry to promote trade and investment through business.
