After almost two decades of writing, a teacher’s dream of publishing a book finally came true. The undying love for literature and poetry motivated Namgyal Tshering to pen down his first book titled “Dragon Delights, A Rosary of poems.” The book was launched in Thimphu on Saturday.
Due to his reticent nature, Namgyal Tshering took time to publish his works. So, he thanked his colleagues and writers for their unwavering support to achieve his dream.
“Since I am a Science Teacher, I have this inhibition that I may not be as good as those English teachers. But, there are many teachers and students who expected me to write a book,” said the author.
Dragon Delights, A Rosary of poems is a non-fiction book and readable by all age groups. It revolves around the author’s real-life experiences.
“My book is a tale of observations and feelings from birth till death. It touches on various aspects of life such as love, modesty, parental love and everything in life,” said Namgyal Tshering.
Feeling accomplished with his verses translated into book, Namgyal said the path has been laid. He assures Dragon Delights is certainly not last from his pen.
