Traveling from Trongsa to Zhemgang will not be of any hindrance henceforth. This is because the construction of bridge at Dzongkhalum- that connects Trongsa highway with Zhemgang has been completed. It opened to vehicular traffic, yesterday.
Apart from commuters, the 35-metre-long motor-able bridge will benefit Mangdechhu Hydroelectric Project Authority (MHPA) in ferrying heavy equipment. The bridge was constructed by MHPA after falling boulders smashed it last year.
