The Venerable Tsugla Lopen of the Central Monastic Body consecrated a Dre-Maed Nam-Nyi Chorten in Sharpa Gewog, Paro today.
His Majesty’s Retired Armed Forces Society in Paro carried out the construction works. Hundreds of locals including those 340 retired armed force personnel who built the Stupa, attended the consecration ceremony ceremony. The chorten will now serve as an important religious object for people of Paro.
