Dagana Police Station
Dagana Police arrested 24-year-old man for involuntary manslaughter in the death of 14-year-old student from Nimtola Primary School in Dorona Gewog.
The suspect was arrested on April 1- the day when the incident took place. He was apprehended following investigation into the case, which was reported to the police as suicide case.
“The suspect under the influence of alcohol compressed the neck of the deceased which led to his death,” the investigation report stated.
The accused has confessed to the crime but told police that he committed the crime after the victim called him thief.
Involuntary manslaughter is a penal offence.
