Tsirang District Court has asked Damphu Central School to reinstate Harka Bahadur Subba as the school’s cook starting this month.
The court has also ordered the school to pay 10 months’ salary to Harka Bahadhur, including the two months when he was on medical leave.
Harka Bahadhu Subba accused the school principal of unlawful termination. The school terminated Harka Bahadhu Subba from his job after he went missing in Bangkok in January last year.
He was in Bangkok on a training with nine other colleagues when he went missing. Harka’s brother filed a case against the Principal at the district court in June last year.
