The High Court has been officially shifted to Supreme Court Complex in Hejo. The inaugural of the new court building was held today to commemorate the golden jubilee of the establishment of bilateral ties between Bhutan and India.
The High Court building has three large courtrooms, nine chambers for the justices and spacious rooms for other judicial staff.
The book about History of Judiciary, authored by Bench Clerk, Sonam Penjor was also launched.
The erstwhile High Court building near Tashichho Dzong will be developed as a museum.
The High Court was established in 1967.
